they announced it on dan's younow april 7th 2015 (50:16) and then they flew to tokyo on april 9th (while nick jonas was trying to hang with his buddy (x))

they immediately started sharing photos the next day on april 10th with dan posting the most insane joint selfie of all time and creating the term japhan (because like everything else it started with user danisnotonfire)

they posted a ton of photos and clips on instagram and twitter that are still live and of course posted the ditl vlog and japan haul when they got back as well as adding a japan section to TABINOF
