Tried out a Japchae recipe, in lieu of recent posts! I fucking LOVE experimenting with eastern asian foods, but this would be my first Korean recipe up until now. Not bad, if I do say so myself. 😌 Typically it would be made with little pieces of beef or pork, but unfortunately, I had none (Also, I had a small accident with one of my teeth so it's just soft foods for now.) So, its just the glass noodles and some sauteed vegetables. I had to do a lot of improv with it lol.
Its got a mushroom blend, scallions, yellow onion, orange bell peppers, and a little bit of minced ginger! The sauce is made of tamari, tahini, turbinado sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. The noodles are topped with some sesame seeds. I might make it with some pea pods next time to add a little more color!

Got an insane amount of stuff from Asian grocery store- did a liiiiittle bit of prep, but I’ll be attempting to make yakitori with green onions, japchae, and Char Kway Teow (noodle dish with Chinese sausage and spinach as my substitute)
Im really so hyped, I love cooking 🥺 being part of a ordered-frozen-meal/meal prep household is very fun when I get to choose what the meals are ^^ I do have a ton of cabbage, tofu, and mushrooms , so I gotta figure out what my veggie dish is gonna be ^^
