Β The costume was not seen again until 2006, when it first appeared on an uncredited (and unseen) actress in David Grubinβs documentary π΄ππππ π¨πππππππππ: π»ππ π³πππ πΈππππ ππ ππππππ. LEONARD NIMOY - 1984'S TV MINISERIES 'THE SUN ALSO RISES.'
I watched the 1984 TV mini-series when it aired, and taped it on VHS tapes. That tape is history now. I've been looking for a DVD, but can't find any professional versions in the United States. (It was filmed in Spain.)
Leonard portrays Count Mippipopolous; who becomes enamored of Lady Brett Ashley (who is in love with Hart Bochner). Shenanigans ensue (based on the Ernest Hemingway novel).
Just two weeks ago, I found someone advising a DVD version of the mini-series. It's clearly been transferred from someone's old VHS tape onto DVD, but still, it's better than nothing I guess.
Just received the DVD today, and look forward to making some screen caps to share.
