It’s kinda sad when you think about it? I mean she isn’t even actually an avatar. I know people regard her as an avatar but? She isn’t? She didn’t gain anything from it? She isn’t in control of the worms in any way that actually matters. they’re using her body for convenience but considering she’s called the flesh hive? She’s a vessel. I mean the worms didn’t even choose her it was implied that the web orchestrated her getting into where the nest was.

I adore Jane I just had to put this out there idk

Jane was a host, not a hive. She was a vessel.

Maybe not even a vessel just for the corruption itself . It’s possible she was also a vessel for the web all things considered.

I know her statement talks about being loved and consumed but also about being scared and that’s probably because she knows that now that she’s a host, once the worms leave or can’t use her she’ll die.

Side note. In the worm fucker statement the worms do like. Actually consume that lady. So we know they can)

I think actual Avatar hive Jane would’ve been interesting though. Especially considering they used wasp larvae as the worms? (Although parasitoid wasps specifically don’t actually have hives)
