LOL okay so. the thing is kim lip & jane from momoland are friends, and they've been hanging out a LOT lately, i can count 5 (maybe 6? i think its 5) different dates in the past 4 weeks - and those are the only the ones that were posted on social media, they've probably hung out more. its cute how much time they spend together right?
i think where the dating rumors have come from is that BBC hate it when other people post loona content - they've expressly forbidden all of loona's family members from ever posting pictures/videos of the girls. this extends to friends, and idol friends too (with some rare exceptions?). this means when janelip post about their dates, its always cryptic and suspicious, and i think that makes it look like their relationship is more illicit than it actually is.
like, jane will use lip/lipstick emojis to represent lip, and kim lip only has 1 post from their dates where instead of saying "jane" or "my female friend" (which is what the other girls do when they've hung out with idols in the past) she just referred to jane as "she" instead, which was kinda funny. none of the posts depicting their dates formally reference one another, but from outfits, reflections, building locations, nail polish etc it's easy to figure out if you pay attention. though lip confirmed in an orbit ring that she spent time with jane and got oysters with her, so that's something. and also both merries and orbits think jane & lip are gay as hell which certainly isn't helping matters lol
