Elder Raal’Maker in his usual garb before he gets injured and degeneration really kicks in and he’s forced into his sarcophagus early and takes on human shells. Had a strong tendency to let his glowing eyes show which frightened a lot of his workers until they realized he’s actually nice.
Got a good kick in the pants to get this finished and pretty pleased. Learning more and more as I toy with painterly pieces. Need to do some texture and material studies for practice and fun.
A long time coming but happy I finished before the year is over. Funny how each time I chipped at it, the illustration slowly evolved. Mixed original Nemsis with the Remake and some concept art for the Remake. Gave him a lot more of a fiery re-appearance after the flamethrower rooftop match with Jill. Entering a 1.5 to 2 form like in the original game as his body is healing and mutating as his limiter is partially damaged.Â

Geez, I have the weirdest learning through osmosis spikes when returning to art pieces. Kind of at the 70% level of completion with this :D
More battle damage to come, work on that weapon's crate, a quick little background, adding fire, and other little effects.
Breaking in a new(actually old) sketchbook and getting some ideas out of my head to help me write.
Handsome Jack getting outfitted for full body transfusion ports for Eridium treatments when he's more lucid. He very much does not enjoy this process as body hurts and is healing. The eridium hurts a lot. And getting everything installed hurts even more.
And not Chief and her crew. Just doctors and scientists dragged brought in that are familiar with eridium and cybernetics.
