Good Thursday morning from Jay, Richie and I! (Addie's still in bed and Syd is laying on the carpet at the door) Sending you all lots of love today as we're coming to the end of our 6th week of social distancing. What has been the most challenging transition for you through all of this?👇🏻 Let me know in the comments! I think we've finally managed to figure out a general routine for our days😜 Like I've mentioned previously, this isn't much of a change for us . . . With both of my kids having ASD we practice social distancing all the time. Lol I think the hardest adjustment for Jay has been doing school work at home. That concept was brand new, as when he came home from school he wasn't available for anything that had to do with sitting still. Addie has done an amazing job at transitioning into doing her school work on the computer, at her desk in between the dining room and livingroom. Definitely not ideal because Jay likes to try for loudest person in the world, on the daily, but we're figuring it out. She is really missing her friends❤ For me the most challenging transition has been not having the school day to complete what I have to do, without the kids here. I miss my me time. Being by myself. Bring able to check in with myself without having to navigate the million things that are needed at the exact second I decide to do something for myself🙄🤷🏼♀️ We're getting through this one day at a time . . . Sometimes one second at a time.
