Chan didn’t respond, too focused on his work.

“Channie-hyung,” Mn tried again, louder this time, dragging out the syllables of his name.

Still nothing.

With a huff, Mn pushed himself up and padded over to the couch. Standing beside it, he leaned in and poked Chan’s cheek. “Helloooo, earth to Bang Chan.”

Chan finally pulled one earbud out, glancing at Mn. “What’s up, agi?”

“I’m bored,” Mn said, pouting. “Pay attention to me.”

Chan smiled softly, shaking his head. “Just give me a few more minutes, Mn. I’m almost done.”

Mn crossed his arms, clearly not satisfied with that answer. “You said that twenty minutes ago!"

Chan’s grin widened at Mn’s whining, but he didn’t budge. He turned back to his laptop, ignoring the way Mn was now dramatically sighing behind him.

Undeterred, Mn circled around to the front of the couch and flopped down beside Chan. He poked at Chan’s arm, tugged at the sleeve of his hoodie, and even tried to close the laptop at one point.

“Mn,” Chan said, his tone warning but still laced with amusement.

Mn only grinned in response, grabbing one of the strings on Chan’s hoodie and twirling it around his finger. “You’re ignoring me.”

“I’m working.”

“You always say that,” Mn retorted, his voice edging into a playful whine.

That was the final straw for Chan. With an exaggerated sigh, he snapped his laptop shut and set it on the coffee table. Before Mn could react, Chan grabbed him by the waist and effortlessly pulled him onto his lap.

“Hyung!” Mn squealed, laughing as Chan adjusted him so he was straddling Chan’s thighs. “What are you doing?”

Chan didn’t answer. Instead, he cupped Mn’s face with both hands and leaned in, pressing a firm kiss to Mn’s lips. Mn’s protests died immediately, replaced by muffled laughter as Chan kissed him again and again, even moving to his nose, cheeks, eyes, anywhere he could reach.

“Still bored?” Chan asked between kisses, his tone teasing.

Mn couldn’t stop giggling, his hands coming up to cover his face. “Stop!” he said, though his laughter made it clear he didn’t mean it.

Chan grinned, gently pulling Mn’s hands away. “Nope. You wanted attention, didn’t you?”

Mn tried to glare, but his flushed cheeks and wide smile ruined the effect. “You’re so annoying,” he muttered, though the affection in his voice was unmistakable.

Chan chuckled, resting his forehead against Mn’s. “Says the one who’s been poking at me for the last half hour.”

Mn huffed but didn’t move. Instead, he pulled his sweater sleeves over his hands and cradled Chan’s face with them, his thumbs brushing against Chan’s cheekbones.

“You’re too adorable,” Chan murmured, his voice softening. “How did I get so lucky?”

Mn’s grin widened at the question. “It’s just the luck of the draw in the deck of life,” he said dramatically, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

Chan laughed, shaking his head. “Well, if that’s true, then I managed to pull the king of hearts.”

Mn’s lips twitched, and he tried to hold back his laughter as he stood up. “Wrong, hyung, that's you.” he called over his shoulder as he headed toward the kitchen.

Chan raised an eyebrow, already smiling. “Oh? And what did I get, then, if you're not the king?”

Mn turned around at the doorway, his grin turning cheeky. “You got the joker.”

Chan froze for a moment, pretending to be offended. “The joker?” he repeated, standing up slowly as his smile morphs into a smirk.

Mn’s eyes widened, and he immediately started giggling. “Hyung, wait, no—”

Chan was already moving, crossing the room in a few quick strides. Mn let out a squeal and bolted into the kitchen, his laughter echoing through the dorm as Chan chased him.

“You’re in for it now, baby boy,” Chan called, grinning as he caught Mn by the waist.

Mn burst into uncontrollable laughter as Chan hugged him from behind, spinning him around slightly before planting a flurry of kisses on his cheek and jaw. “Hyung! Stop! I’m sorry!” Mn said between giggles, though he didn’t sound sorry at all.

“Not a chance,” Chan replied, laughing along with him. He tightened his hold, burying his face in the crook of Mn’s neck and pressing one last kiss there for good measure.

The atmosphere was warm and light, filled with the sound of Mn’s laughter and Chan’s soft chuckles. For Chan, there was no better feeling in the world than moments like this—holding Mn close, hearing his laughter, and knowing he was the reason for it.

As Mn finally caught his breath, he turned in Chan’s arms, wrapping his own around Chan’s neck. “You really do love me, huh?” he teased, though his tone was softer now.

Chan smiled, pressing a gentle kiss to Mn’s forehead. “More than anything, my precious Joker.” he said honestly.

Mn’s smile softened with a gentle chuckle, and he tightened his arms, his hands moving slightly to the back of Chan's head to lightly play with his hair. “Good, My King,” he murmured. “Because I’m keeping you forever.”

Chan chuckled, holding him tighter while lightly touching his nose to Mn's before resting his forehead against the others. “I wouldn’t have it any other way, baby.”
