Thomas \ Malakai is ADORABLE

After a near-perfect first season and a much messier second one, Heartbreak High thankfully goes out on a worthy high note. Oh, it's still messy, especially during the first half; a lot of rushed developments and important things that were only mentioned in throwaway lines. But the second half was amazing, pretty much as brilliant as the first season. I love that the writers tried out as many character combinations as possible, like they wanted to make the most of these last eight episodes. Tbh, I can't help but imagine what this show would have been like with old-school twenty-episode seasons, with proper room to explore and develop all the characters equally. Still, there's no denying it managed to steal my heart with the limited time it had. And it was in big part due to the once-in-a-lifetime cast. I know they've all built an actual friend group in real life, but it's so weird knowing that I will never see all of them together on a screen again. All in all, I will miss with all my heart the colorful, diverse ensemble of characters that Heartbreak High gifted us.
