I’ve had this on MEGA REPEAT the last few days: 武家坡 2021 / Wu Jia Po 2021, it’s a (cover of a) pop take on a Beijing opera song. At this point in the story, Xue Pinggui is off at war, filled with regret for leaving his wife Wang Baochaun alone and poor with no news of him for 18 years.  Jam Hsiao and Qi Zhang made the song into a duet, with Jam singing the part of the faithful wife waiting for her husband’s return while she lives in a desolate cave! it’s so fun. the original version, by 龍猛寺 Long Meng Si with english subtitles for the lyrics is here! summary of the whole legend/opera here
