Is it weird that the a day in the life of Rey on Jakku stuff in Force Awakens might be one of my favorite stretches of Star Wars content? It just does such a good job at putting me in the universe and making the Star Wars galaxy feel like a tangible place with texture and history that people have to actually live in when they're not going on epic space adventures. We only really got that ever so briefly with Luke's introduction in A New Hope, which is held back somewhat by the fact Luke acts like a complete weirdo.
