1. album of the year?
It’s really hard to say anything but Take This To Your Grave. I listened to a fuck ton of albums this year and many of them were foundational. But god damn TTTYG really was my album this year haha
2. artist of the year?
Motörhead was my top artist this year according to Apple, but tbh the band that defined my year was honestly Foxy Shazam. I saw them a couple times this year and they’re always so fun to hang out with pre show/backstage and SUCH sweet guys. My girl’s obsession with them has made them a daily conversation topic and I really can’t thank Teddy Devin Alex Trevor Eric and Sky plus the crew (love you too Joey Brandon and Marisa) enough for being as kind and fun every time we’ve hung out. This was such a major year for their careers that was so amazing to see and experience “with” (?) them :) and bonus points to Guttural Disgorge for putting out two of my favorite albums of the year as brand new slamming brutal death band. This was such a good year for extreme music but l've yapped long enough
3. song of the year?
God it's such a tie between We Ride Skeletal Lightning by The Blood Brothers which literally kept me standing some days this year, and Slumped In The House of God by No Cure (ft the bogg 🙂↕️). which is just so good oh my god. I’m honestly gonna go with that one I don’t have much to say about it, it’s just really my song of the year
9. best thing that happened to you this year?
Moving* out. Holy shit. You really aren’t crazy you just live with your parents.
16. something you learned about yourself this year?
Hm. That I really do actually love living. This was the best year of my life, and even though it had its ups and downs, so much good happened this year and I made so many right decisions for myself and this is the best I’ve felt honestly ever.
17. favorite outfit of the year?
Maybe a cop out answer but it was just a regular outfit of mine that I wore with horns my paint and a chain tail so it counts to me but my fuckboy demon metalhead costume for Halloween this year was fun. Fuck it face reveal (kind of lmao) for 2026. Yes those are real handcuffs yes I use them no I’ve never locked myself in my pants (people ask me that a surprising amount)
24. hopes or goals for the new year?
Yeah a couple! I want to watch more movies, I have a huge list of films and I already spent a lot of time watching videos on my computer anyways, I might as well make it movies. It will make me happier than YouTube junk I don’t care that much about. Speaking of, about midway through this year I decided to stop using YouTube on my phone and only use it on my computer, which was honestly amazing for my mental health and I really want to stick to that in 2026. Also trying be a little bit more fun with my money and not so tight on feeling like I need to hold onto every penny to kind of a ridiculous degree. More stuff too but we’ll cut it at that
