'Hi, are you not up yet?' Jaemin sounds like he's had his coffee, which irks Jisung just a tad bit because-

'I missed class, why did you let me sleep so long?

‘Why didn't you wake me up on the way out? And where's my coffee?' Jisung mumbles, making sure to tone his sentence in a way so Jaemin understood that he was upset, but not too much.

Jaemin would understand anyway.

'Sit down baby, it's Saturday,' Jaemin laughs, and it sounds fond. It makes Jisung's heart swell and he feels like he's choking on the feeling.

‘Oh, oh saturday. Okay,' He says, slowly pulling his arm out of the sweater he was wrestling himself into.

'I made breakfast for you and I'II be back by lunch.

‘Is that okay?' Jaemin asks, and he sounds distracted, then he hears the rustle of papers and guesses that he's probably already at work.

‘I'll be okay alone for a day, I'm not a baby anymore.’

'Are you not? I'm a bit busy today so get some studying done, and then we can head out to the theater. Be ready by 4 okay?'

'The theater? What for?' he stops on his way to the couch as he racks his brain to remember whether they had made plans together.

'Hmm? Didn't you tell me you wanted to see the premiere screening of the new play? Were you joking? Oh God jisung. I didn't even ask you before I booked the tickets please tell me you actually wanted to go,' Jamin sounds panicked and for some reason, this is the moment he realises, that-

God, he loves him.

The sudden swell of affection in his chest rises up his throat and when he voices it, it sounds like

'Hyung.’

He takes another deep breath before continuing.

'Yes hyung, I'll be ready, don't worry about it,' he says, and he wonders how his voice has not betrayed him yet.

He smiles as he pictures Jamin in his suit and tie in a local theater.

He doesn't even like plays.

He lets out a tiny giggle which prompts a 'hm?' from the other end of the call.

'Nothing. Just love you.'
