The Alphabetical Anthology of White Liberal Proverbs is an A - Z of common phrases used by the white liberal. I have spent 25 years living amongst the inhabitants of London, many of whom are white liberals, and learning their ways and colloquialisms. This book is hand illustrated and features poetry and collages that create both a contextual back drop and visual critique of common discourses and the dominant narratives of pop culture.

On Wednesday 2nd September, join us and @jacobvjoyce for their Black and Brown Queer World Building Workshop - a workshop mapping the future through collaborative poetry and writing exercises. 💜 This workshop takes place on the 2nd day of Decolonise Fest Online, and draws on speculative fiction writing techniques to facilitate collaborative envisioning of a queer decolonial future.🪐 Artist Jacob V Joyce has run Black Queer World Building workshops at many galleries across the UK and in Trinidad & Tobago during their residency at Gasworks. Its sad that this still happens to black queers when we try to enter so called queer spaces, especially dark skinned queers. After I drew this a friend pointed out that its not just queer spaces, this instance of policing and insinuating that we do not belong is played out across all institutions, the housing market, the curriculum, hollywood and history.
