Dom looked around the prison visiting room suspiciously, not trusting any person here as he sat down, eyes facing the glass. This glass would be the only thing separating him from Jake, and he waited impatiently for the guards to bring him in. When he was finally brought in, his eyes took in every detail until it settled warily on Jake's face. Even though he'd been talking shit about this man since they fought each other in Medusa, there had always been doubt cast. The look he could see in Jake's eyes now was his confirmation. "Well, you look like shit," Dom immediately said into the phone, steeling himself, knowing he knew absolutely nothing about what to expect from this conversation.

location: outside his home 

“I know, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to come here out of the blue but I just... I wanted to see how you were doing,” Adee said with a soft sigh. Monty might have been an ex-boyfriend, but he was one of Jake’s best friends. Plus, seeing how he was doing was a good distraction from the grief over one of her best friends’ death too. Pierce. So far, she’d done a really good job of not dealing with it, but she wanted to offer being a listening ear, in case Jake needed one. “I got some food from The Daily Dose, if you’d like some?”

Dom was sick of this. The biggest suspect in his eyes was suddenly dead, according to the news this morning, and he was left reeling, back to square one with no real clue on who to place the blame on. Adding in the fact that he could feel the grief over Theo’s and Bianca’s deaths bubbling up, and Dom knew he wasn’t doing so well. It was why he found himself at Medusa, drinking all of it away. He didn’t want to think, didn’t want to feel sad, didn’t want to do anything other than listen to the music, drink and smoke his blunt. He only pulled himself out of his blissful bubble when he suddenly realized who was sitting near him. “Hey, Jakey boy,” Dom said, the one word already sounding slurred to his ears. “Isn’t it crazy to think that your girlfriend suspected your best friend of doing all this shit and suddenly, he’s dead too?”
