December 11th Christmas Special

You were lying down on the couch, reading one of your favorite books. As you turn the page, you hear a groan beside you and then feel a sudden weight being put onto your body. You grunt and look down at Jacob, now resting in your arms. “You alright Jacob?” You slowly run your fingers through his hair. “ ‘s too cold” He mumbles out, cheeks squished into your chest. 

{time skip} {breaking an entry}

2 weeks had past since Ryan was stirred into the mix and things are going smoothly, then Jacob begins to become more absent. He goes missing one night and the hacketters go searching for him, Dylan and Ryan trying the hardest “JACOB! COME ON MAN NOT COOL!” Dylan shouts worry overtaking his words “Fuck fuck fuck fuck where is he?” “Dylan! Over here!” Ryan shouts from a few meters away, Dylan runs over to see Jacob curled in a ball at that little clearing he had shown him a few weeks ago “for fuck sake Jacob are you alright? You scared the shit out of us” Dylan asks sitting beside him, Jacob looks away silently “Hey we can help if you tell us what’s wrong” Ryan adds sitting on his other side, Ryan spots drops of water fall off Jacobs face before Jacob buries his face in his knees “Are you.. crying?” Ryan asks concerned “Jacob seriously tell us what’s wrong” Dylan requests putting his arms around Jacob “I… don’t want to forget you.. either of you, and I don’t want you to forget me. But as soon as camp’s over we’ll go our separate ways… and lose contact” Jacob manages to sputter out through cries “we’ll just give each other our numbers” Dylan suggests “Mr H has our phones remember? We can’t..” Jacob responds “who says he can’t get them back temporarily?~” Dylan suggests smugly “Are you suggesting we break into Mr H’s office?” Ryan asks fully knowing the answer “uhh yeah? What else would we do? Beg?” Dylan responds. Ryan sighs and plants his hand on his forehead “you do you man, I’m not breaking into Chris- I mean Mr. H’s office” Ryan sighs “fine by me!” Dylan responds shrugging with a grin. Dylan grabs Jacob’s hand and walks into the lodge with confidence, once they get near Mr. H’s office they start to be more careful.

“It’s locked.. kicking it down would be too loud” Dylan mutters “I can pick it” Jacob says, Dylan’s face is painted with surprise and amusement “well then get on it little guy” Dylan adds, Jacob rolls his eyes and places an ear to the door “what are you doing? If that’s how you pick a lock I’m very doubtful we’ll get in” Dylan asks, Jacob sighs and rolls his eyes “no I’m listening to see if anyone’s there. It’d be pretty shameful to break in and get caught immediately” “ooooohhh~ makes sense” Dylan responds. After confirming the coast is clear Jacob begins picking at the lock, a few minutes go by before [click] the door opens.

“Bingo” Jacob Mutters accomplished, they head into the room and grab their phones “ok ok now let’s exchange contacts” Dylan says. They exchange contacts, then Ryan walks through the door “Oh~ look who decided to join us” Jacob teases “shut up dude” Ryan sighs taking his phone “now what are you two’s numbers?” Both Jacob and Dylan give Ryan their details before they put their phones back down and sneak back out.

December 4th Christmas Special:

(Takes place before the events of The Quarry, You, Kaitlyn and Jacob are all childhood friends. It's in like Jacob’s house or something.)

“I swear to god, if you don't stop singing I’m going to ram your head into the wall.” Kaitlyn grunts as she leans into the couch, grabbing the pillows beside her and throwing them Jacob’s way. “C’mon Kaitlyn” He starts “Tis is the season to be jolly” Kaitlyn groans as she pushes Jacob away.

{Polyamory} {Jaylan and Rylan}

Dylan wakes up at 6:15am alone “the hell? Jacob?” He asks slowly getting out of bed, when his feet touch the floor he feels something grab onto his leg and jumps back “WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!” Dylan screams in distress, then he hears a familiar chuckle from under the bed. Dylan lies on the floor to see what it is; Jacob hiding under the bed giggling like a little kid “got you~” Jacob snickers “you asshole” Dylan responds getting back up “let’s get ready for the day, you’re set up to work with Kaitlyn this morning, I’m working with Ryan” Dylan explains getting ready, “okkkkkk” Jacob sighs getting out of his hiding spot and ready for the day.

Jacob and Kaitlyn are doing a cafeteria run for breakfast while everyone else sets up the activities, Kaitlyn starts whistling “ok spill.” Jacob says smiling “I don’t know what you’re talking about” Kaitlyn replies giggling “you only whistle like that when you want to say something so spill” Jacob adds putting down his plate “ok but don’t freak out” Kaitlyn requests, Jacob nods “so, Ryan was up like all night last night, talking about Dylan. He’s obsessed, he hasn’t said anything all morning, he’s just stared at Dylan longingly” Kaitlyn adds “he- he what? I mean shit.. if he wants to share I’m cool with that” Jacob responds calmer than Kaitlyn had expected “I fully expected you to throw something at me just now” Kaitlyn chuckles giving Jacob a playful jab in the side “But.. Ryan and Dylan are working together right now, will he say anything?” Jacob inquires looking a little worried “No, I don’t think so, he was going on about how he could never say it to his face while he’s with you” Kaitlyn replies confidently “I hope you’re right” Jacob responds looking down at his plate

Meanwhile Ryan and Dylan are setting up an obstacle course for the campers to work their way through later on. Ryan looks back at Dylan and sighs looking away “You alright buddy?” Dylan asks in a playful tone “Mm? Oh, yeah yeah I’m cool” Ryan responds avoiding eye contact, Dylan starts to worry “Listen dude, you’re avoiding eye contact, that’s a sign you’re not ok for me. What’s going on?” Dylan asks sitting beside him “It’s… not something we should talk about without Jacob..” Ryan responds rubbing the back of his neck “Alright I’ll go get Jacob then” Dylan responds shooting up. “W-Wait- you don’t-…. Have to” Ryan tries to protest but Dylan is already gone.

{Chapter 5}

{Blood}

At 6:15am Dylan’s scheduled alarm goes off, Dylan slaps the button on the alarm to turn it off then cuddles into Jacob more. At 6:45am the alarm goes off again and Jacob wakes up “C’mon we gotta get up, the new campers rock up today” Jacob whispers shaking his sleeping beauty gently “Mmm five more minutes” Dylan grumbles nuzzling closer “No, don’t give me that, c’mon get up” Jacob says swapping sides with Dylan so he can get out of bed “it’s time to get up! The new campers arrive today!!” Jacob exclaims with an enthusiastic smile!

After waking up the 7 counsellors plus Mr Hackett start greeting the new campers and parents and welcoming everyone new and reoccurring, once everyone was welcomed and settled in their cabins the new campers gather around the fire pit to get split into their activities for the day. “Alright new campers! You’ll be paired up with one of our, ‘veteran’ campers to get shown the ropes just for the first week then we’ll allow you to pick your own parters or to camp alone. I’m going to give you a number and that number will tell you what counsellor will be leading your first activity for the day, 1. Is Jacob & Dylan out at the lake house” Kaitlyn explains loud enough for everyone to hear while pointing at Jacob and Dylan “2. Will be with Emma and Abi doing arts” Kaitlyn points at Emma and Abi then continues “3. Will be with Nick, learning about ropes, ties, and knots” Kaitlyn points at nick then points at both Ryan and herself “4. Will be set with me and Ryan, we’ll be teaching you basic survival skills” Kaitlyn walks around and starts putting kids in groups and giving them numbers. After everyone had been put in their groups they all split off and get to teaching their classes.
