I highly recommend it, & as a bonus it seems right up your alley! Unique animation style, fun memorable character designs, dark / morbid humor, visual gags that elevate the universe and character interactions, the list goes on! It also has a ton of heart, exploring themes including staying true to oneself in spite of pressure, overcoming prejudices and assumptions, showing that empathy and kindness cost nothing and make life worth living, and, a soft spot of mine, exploring the found family trope / dynamic!

There's so much that's wonderful about this film, its messages & themes, & as another bonus a staple of its soundtrack is songs by or covered by Louis Prima (in the same vein Disney's [animated] Lilo & Stitch had its own Elvis Presley staple in its soundtrack then included a Winona Judd cover of Burnin' Love! I haven't gotten around to the live-action remake yet but I remain optimistic it is still intact)!

ANYWAY!!!! ONTO THE SHIP GAME THING: On a silver platter, I offer you the sleazy, conniving, wretched, terrible awful no-good cheating sham that is Dr. Schadenfreude, voiced by Eddie Izzard! He's such a shithead, has bizarre fashion taste like his girlfriend Jaclyn (voiced with great fervor and sarcasm by the ever-lovely Jennifer Coolidge!), he bullshits his way through everything (it's in his name, iykyk), he is a scheming asshat, oh my god. There are MANY things WRONG with him, one of many staples for YOUR faves! Because same lmao

AHHHH oh my goodness Igor, what a blast from the past!!! 😭💖💖 i am SURE we talked about this movie on here not too long ago - it's one of those very dim memories i have from my childhood, but i do remember having a fridge magnet from the movie in my house for many years 😂💖 but oh yes, let's talk about Dr. Schadenfreude 🫠🫠🫠

i cannot argue with you. this man is so my type it hurts. of course a deliciously cunty character played by the fabulous Suzy Eddie Izzard (who is a genderfluid legend now!!) oozes charisma and nastiness 🫠🫠🫠 that voice!! the outfit!!! and oh my god don't get me started on the sadomasochistic relationship he has with Jaclyn, they are wonderful together. they're what Maxime Le Mal and Valentina could have been if Illumination weren't cowards 😂😂
