Back in cali! In time for mask freedom too! City was too much for this confused girl and she took her sister to be a country local. Back to Carson City, NV! 

First day up there we left early, got to Bishop in good timing. Jack’s Restaurant in Bishop is open for indoor dining again, so good. Then stopped for overpriced gas, and beef jerky at Mahogany Smoked Meats. Then stopped in Bridgeport, to visit my Sweet Water Outpost. Finally on to Carson City. Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot. Unwound in Duke’s Steak house and had the best meal ever. For a very very good price too. 

Next day was Breakfast at Squeeze Inn, a cute little out of this world home made food place. Visited Genoa, for some antiquing and drinking. A better combination than you might think. Stopped for a drink in the oldest bar in Nevada. After that headed on down the road to Gardnerville for Cheshire Antique Mall. Finished the day out with Red’s Old 395 BBQ! And some swimming to not be totally lazy on vacation. 

Day 3, was a quiet breakfast at Jack in the Box to try their chocolate croissant bites. Very good, highly suggested, and was meant to be paired with Dutch Boys (to go there for our cousins sake), but the line was too long. Then stopped at Rocking and Rolling to visit my dear Jeanette! Oh how it does my heart good to see her! Then off to Virginia City! Took my sister underground to another fabulous bar, and then headed back to town in time for happy hour at the Fox Brew Pub.  Hit the hay early to get ready to head home. 

Day 4, we left around 6 am or so and made excellent time to Bridgeport where we stopped for fresh bread at the local bakery. I fought someone off for the last squaw bread, and decided to try the High Sierra (white bread). No regrets, so good! Stopped in Bishop for Gas, Beef Jerky, and one last stop at Jacks. It only got bad when we got about an hour or so from home. Where did all the people come from? Where did they go?
