Raph dusted his hands off. Another successful night of solo crime fighting.
He took a step back from his work and nodded at it proudly. The thieves groaned as the rope they were tied in spun. He tossed a tracker down that Donnie made him so the police could find where they were. The snapper left before they arrived too early.
He landed in the alley below and yawned. This wasn't his normal entrance into the sewers after a night like this, but--
A soft rustling sound at the far end distracted him. He turned to it, but nothing was obvious at first. Except for a small brown spot among all the black.
It got bigger slowly until something was rubbing against his leg. He looked down and blinked. Whatever it was sat down and stared up at him. He crouched to get a closer look at it.
It had light brown fur, face and body decorated with yellow and green patterns. It kind of looked like a cat of some sort. He had to admit it was cute.
"Where'd you come from little guy?" he asked.
The cat-like animal tilted its head. He reached out and carefully rubbed between its ears.
"If you don't have anywhere to go, I'm sure you can follow me," he offered.
It excitedly wagged its tails. He took that as a yes.
