I am fairly recent to the community as previously the topic has just never come up, but I was originally against proship when I learned about it through anits. I have come to the realization that indulgence on the internet is better than indulgence in real life. My stance right now is that, if someone hates insest, underage, etc, I DO TOO. It makes me horribly uncomfortable and there are many times that I will question the people behind it, but I’m certainly not telling these people to kill themselves because of it.
I am of the stance that you are allowed, and it is natural to question people biased on their beliefs and opinions. Question them as you would with someone new you meet in person, opinions are a test of character and if you personally don't share those opinions than don't mix, you leave it at that and move on with your life to make a different friend with someone you relate to. You should question it yourself, silently, and make your own decision not whether to interact or not. INTERACT, if you don't mind it, DON'T if you find that you don't like them as a person.
When you hate a food, you don't eat it, not continue to eat it and continue to say you hate it. If you have personally decided that this person is someone you do not like because of what they create, than do not interact with them and you won't have to see more of them. Algorithms whole job is to keep you engaged, so tell them what the hell you wanna engage with or not.
I don't know if this a reasonable stance, am open to hearing if this a good mindset for not.
I think its a fair enough stance to take. DL;DR, you can be repulsed by things. Nothing says you have to LIKE loli, or LIKE rape smut, or LIKE any of the millions of other taboo things you may find on the internet. The expectation of being proship is that you just acknowledge that maybe those things aren't for you, approach situations / individuals respectfully, and move along with your life.
