"High atop a mountain, above the pines and mist that surrounds the bay of Inverness, there stands an incredible mansion. Its three towers appear to pierce the sky, its windows are like a thousand eyes turned inward, and its doors, hinged on time, open into endless space. The Fourth Tower of Inverness!"
The intro to each episode of ZBS's The Fourth Tower of Inverness
Alright, now that we all love Welcome to Night Vale, I think it's time everyone was introduced to ZBS Radio's the Fourth Tower of Inverness! (Note: this title must always be said in the most dramatic way possible, preferably with thunderclap sound effects.) Made in 1972, and recorded live, the Fourth Tower of Inverness is bizarre, hilarious, and even poignant. (Remind you of anything?) I'm going to upload the first episode, and if there's interest (which there will be) I will put up the rest.
So get ready to meet Jack Flanders, and remember:
THERE IS NO FOURTH TOWER OF INVERNESS!
(thunderclap)
You gotta be cool without gotta-ing to be anything.

The Fourth Tower of Inverness Returns to Radio
Hey Kids! I hope you find this news as awesome as I do. The Fourth Tower of Inverness is returning to radio, in its' original form... a daily dose of transcendental entertainment.
The Fourth Tower will air throughout the day, daily, Monday thru Friday, for 14 weeks on Radio InfoWeb http://radio.infoweb.net beginning Monday, December 3rd, 2012.
That's coming up soon, so best prepare! There are a number of ways to tune in. There's an iPhone app (works on iPad and other iThings too). You can listen on TuneIn and through many other mechanisms. All you really need is a web browser. There are a lucky few around the world who hear Radio InfoWeb on FM radio. No commercials. See the website.
There are expected to be catch-ups on weekends and throughout the run, parties, but probably no clowns or balloons.
Radio InfoWeb also has lots of music for the spacey mood that is best for enjoying the Fourth Tower.
I had just started out in Radio when the Fourth Tower of Inverness was first released, and was thrilled to have it on my station. What goes around comes around, and it's happening again!
Many thanks to Meatball Fulton (the author of the Fourth Tower) and ZBS Media for helping to make this happen!
