Stirling Moss

A Moss website still exists today but it's more recent, the ones talked about in this post only accessible from web archives.

Lots of ads, he really was ahead of his time

Stirling Moss liked to change websites every few years apparently, so this is going to be a bit of a mess. I found a couple of them with decimated pictures and Tumblr has a limit of images I can add so I will stick to only two versions. The first is the one above. It's older, graphically quite cool and it had races reviews of the current season at the time!!! It's such a clever thing to put in a website in my opinion :)

The other is more simple and obviously incomplete, but it has some really fun sections. We have an attempt at a diary (?), the narration of some months of 1955 for no particular reason, some interviews and he even congratulates Fernando Alonso for the 2005 championship!! (cute)

There's also an accessories section apparently? They're pretty funny in my opinion, i don't think I'd buy that 35 pound Stirling Moss umbrella now, let alone in 2005.

Clever and useful, I mean you could say that.

Phil Hill

Again, only exists archived.

literally the perfect website

By far my favorite website as it's very pretty and detailed. It might also have to do with the fact that I adore any photo of Phil Hill as an old man and here there are some!! We have a long biography, a little shop section and one to promote his book.

It's crazy how much I love that picture

Exploring the changes of the site throughout the years you can also find a list of Phil's Race Entries between 1947 and 1967 !! (which is technically present in the original but the file doesn't open anymore) And it has a search engine too! (it doesn't work at least for me but still) Very interesting stuff!! :D

In the autograph section we can find a free downloadable image, signed by none other than Phil Hill !!

Finally, under Appearances, there's a page that made me a little emotional because he's there alive and around. Basically, they're showing examples of Phil Hill being cute at events and motorsports conventions to convince people to call him.

It worked for me ;)
