Unbind Me.
Unbind Me:Â Iâll write a drabble about your character freeing mine, or the other way around, or something among the lines.
Although Keyâs movements with his hands were gentle, Jace could tell the Master was practically snarling with anger. There was a small stream of blood running down his neck and coming from his mouth. His lower lip was swollen badly, and his jaw hurt a lot. Also his right cheek was throbbing and a bruise was already forming on his cheekbone. They were in the back of a club that contained both promises of pleasure and danger equally, and they didnât have much time before someone noticed what was happening there.
"How could you be such an idiot?" Key hissed as he tried to not let his hands shake too badly as he untied Jaceâs legs. "Why did you think it was a good idea to wander in those alleys? Do you want to die that badly?"
Finally after another pull, the ropes fell and Key let out a sigh of relief. Then he helped him to get up, and frowned after noticing that it was hard for him to stay on his feet. It seemed that he had been beaten up worse than he had initially thought. He cursed under his breath and immediately tried to get rid of the rope holding his hands tightly behind his back.
"I know it hasnât been easy for you to be all alone where we live, but risking yourself like thisâŚ", he said, purposefully tugging harder at the binds but stopping once Jace let out a groan of pain. "If i hadnât been here, if I hadnât been with themâŚ"
His eyes flicked up to meet Jaceâs, and though he was seething with raw anger coming from a deep worry and fear, he still couldnât cover the anguish he felt at the mere idea of losing Jace like that. He had to snap out of his thoughts as soon as he heard voices coming in their way, and once he freed the other, he took his hand and immediately led them both to the back door. Once outside, he ran while almost dragging the other until they reached the streets buzzing with nightlife.
By then Jace was panting harshly and almost fell down. Key surrounded his waist with an arm and helped him to stay up on his feet as they walked slowly towards the place where he always was able to get a car if he needed it.
"I hate you," he mumbled as they walked, his grip around the elder tightening just a tad. "I just hate you."
