Following in the footsteps of Universal FanCon, Izumicon in Oklahoma has cancelled two weeks before its scheduled date. Unlike UFC, Izumicon had been established for about ten years, and was only recently turned to new management. As an artist who enjoys vending at conventions, I don’t want to see this become a trend, and I hope making this post will draw more attention to this, as well as the artists who had already bought a booth. I don’t want it to get swept under the radar for not being in the same location as a well-known anime convention or being as prominent as Tanacon. I don’t know how many people will see this, but I think it’s something that needs to be seen!

Soooo I did get some photos taken of earlier this year in my full get up. It was a lot colder hence the boots & hand warmers. I had a blast wearing it, especially as evening wore on and people could actually see the lights in the wig. I pulled the design from concept art by Claire Keane.

But Izumicon was AMAZING. It snowed! I didn’t sweat my makeup off BUT it was still incredibly cold… xD I wore Hondo on Saturday to attend a little Star Wars gathering at the Oklahoma City Myriad Gardens ice rink!! I had so so so many more pics but *sighhhhs*. These were some of my favorites. Got pics with a clone trooper and Vader and a precious Jawa! I did have a pic of a Sabine I think but it’s gone T__T I personally didn’t skate xD the little R2 was rolling around on the ice but he was having issues so I got a pic when he came off the ice. I hate that that pic is so blurry Dx it was my favorite!! I have the biggest little smile and it’s the perfect pic to represent how happy I was TuT I even had a little kid as me where my crew was!!!! The KID KNEW WHO I WAS. Bless xD Doubt any of you guys went but if you saw me or took a pic, I’d love to see it TuT Wish I’d posted these sooner sigh. Getting super pumped and super scared of Star Wars Celebration next month!! And thank you so much sis, @nmallenart and @kameik0 for taking the pics and for resending me pics i lost that I sent you. It means so much T____T thank you guys!!!
