Her!!! I'm really proud of this drawing lol. Also her pelt is mostly a grayscale version of her grandmother Brightheart's because I thought it was cute, except for the face.

I'm making her worse <3 she is explicitly not close with her children because she kind of feels uncomfortable with them, but does make an effort to grow their relationships around their late apprenticeships and early adulthoods. After Bristlefrost's death she feels immense guilt for not being closer with her. She had kits because it was normal and expected of her, and because Fernsong said he would do most of the caring (which he did, but she can't help but notice the way he's praised for things that are expected of her)

Also I am a fan of the loveless marriage IvyFern headcanon but not for my own rewrite, they genuinely love and care for each other but there is a level of built up resentment as well. Everything is complicated

Also she does not have therapy talks with Rootspring she's not emotionally mature enough for that in my rewrite let Ivypool be messy!!!! She does go through an emotional maturity arc throughout her Super Edition but she does not start out the way she is in canon.
