My Genshin teams' interactions 🤣
(some were really old ahaha these are all old arts ;w;)
Remember, shipping a mlw ship also means having to read daily:
“Platonic soulmates”
“Besties”
“Their friendship”
“Gay besties”
“Mlm and wlw solidarity/hostility”
“They're like siblings”
“They hate each other”
“A man with a woman? 🤮”
“Can't a man and a woman be friends anymore?”
“This is homophobic” (without confirmation of the sexuality)
“Boring ship”
A clumsy troublemaker got the attention of Madam Kujou

I’d love to write for some other fandoms one day but frankly those fandoms scare me. Let me explain: the Transformers fandom spoiled me in a sense.
People in this fandom, from my personal experience, are unbelievably chill with nearly every topic as long as you properly tag it. I could write fics as fluffy or as dark as I want and no one would really complain as long as I gave clear content warnings. Or heck even dark topics aside, even for just AUs like “Actually character X and Y are siblings and Characters A and B are their parents” I have never faced any sort of hate for. Heck even if i characterise a character slightly differently I never got any direct hate for that but at best a few well meant pieces of constructive criticism.
But then I get ideas for fics for Genshin Impact, Spirou and Fantasio, Mob Psycho 100 etc. And I just… cannot bring myself to publish it. Because these fandoms are so damn strict.
I fear people in the Genshin fandom will yell at me for making Kaveh “weak and effeminate” or for describing his skin as dark/tan when in game he’s pale skinned. Or heck the fact that I want to write for ships like Haikaveh or Ittosara at all because no matter what you ship in this fandom apperently, some guy out there will make a tiktok rant video about you about how problematic that ship is and anyone who ships it is (insert random crime accusation in here).
Like I am scared of people in the Spirou Fandom yelling at me for “mischaracterising” Spirou or idk dragging me to the court of Den Hague for wanting to write omegaverse fics (which according to some fandoms is already a crime on its own) that discuss topics like miscarriages and the harder parts of pregnancy rather than the romanticised version most fics depict.
Or that the Mob Psycho 100 fandom will yell at me for wanting to write a fic set in feudal Japan where Reigen is the father of Mob and the other kids because “I am erasing Mob’s actual family in favour of a tumblr sexyman!!!!”
In general I have tons of ideas for many fandoms, but the transformers fandom so far has been the only one that never made me feel unsafe about publishing said fic ideas. Never once did this fandom make me think I was gonna get call out posts for writing something not squeaky clean, sanitised and cringe-free.
