I was invited by Ford to come out to Dearborn over a week ago to preview the Mustang Mach E in the design studio. We met with Dave Pericak and Team Mustang and got to see first hand what went into the development of this new product . My first impression was that it is an attractive vehicle with serious performance potential. The AWD is a great option for winter climates, too. Will it ever replace my traditional Mustangs? Not a chance? Would it be a great addition as a fun driver with room for the family? Absolutely. I can tell you this..sitting in the driver's seat looking over the contoured hood evokes the feeling of being in a GT350. Sure, slapping the Mustang name on the Mach E is polarizing to a lot of purists (Mach E - Inspired by Mustang would be perfect), but this innovative vehicle will open up the door to a new group of enthusiasts.
