A month ago I did something that I didn’t think I’d ever do until I got the opportunity to train with the best instructors I’ll ever have, including my dad. To be able to say I got my black belt in AKDA RYU Kyokushin by doing a 40 man kumite is something I’ll always consider one of my proudest moments. To somewhat be a little more like Dad is beyond words. To be know that I’ve made him, my mom and instructors proud means so much to me.
