There was an article that said it was impossible to convey sarcasm in written text, but have you ever read the first sentence of pride and prejudice? On a side note, it can be just as difficult to convey sarcasm in spoken words. Once I told my friend, who is aware of my social anxiety and also usually possesses common sense, in a dry tone that I loved being trampled in crowds and she was so confused until I explained the intent of the joke. Sarcasm doesn't have any clear markers to signpost it, you just have to freaking read the subtext you idiots
