Watching your video (still not done bc five hours) i remembered something that just keeps bothering me:
Sombra destroyed the Tree of Harmony.
SOMBRA did what DISCORD couldn't.
Remember those damn vines from, what was it the season 4 premier? Yeah those.
Sombra did in one afternoon what those things couldn't do in 1000 years... against a weakened tree.

I have made this joke before but like. Discord brought Sombra back. On purpose. Discord brought Sombra and several other villains back SPECIFICALLY so they could attack the protagonists of the show. Discord WANTED them to cause mayhem, to give the heroes a 'lesson'.
...Discord brought Sombra back so he could destroy the ONLY weapons his 'friends' had to use against him. the Elements of Harmony are destroyed, and because of it, they could never stop him if he acts up again. Discord brought a bad guy to do his bidding then had him killed as a fall guy and wiping out evidence x'D
Fr tho it is kinda dumb but I'm pretty sure the showrunners realised they had trapped themselves ina corner by giving the protagonists win buttons since season 1, and knew they had to erase the win button on the final season for "Stakes" ...Which is funny because the "Stakes" in question are artificial, Discord is making them up.
The irony being that if this show didn't rely on violence and big conflicts as finales, the Elements of Harmony wouldn't need to be used AND disabled as 'weapons' because they wouldn't be commonly used as weapons. yet, they're VERY commonly used as weapons, effective ones at that. And then woop even without the elements, friendship magic can still melt peoples faces off. So it doesn't matter
