I relate to Lauzun a lot. No, more like... I have been him. I have tear him open and felt what it's like to be in his shoes. Might not be accurate what I felt but I felt so many things.
Once I was told that Mitski and Lauzun wouldn't be relaistic, since Lauzun "can't comprehend all that emotion" or something. I probably misunderstood, but that's how it felt. First, I shrugged it off; people have different opinions. But later, I got soooo mad. SO MAD.
Lauzun HAS autistic traits. That's why he's called "dumb", "numb", "dense" and shit. I am very entangled with both Lauzun and autism, and it makes my blood boil that some people believe that austistic people can't comprehend or can't relate to heavy emotions bc what.
In my experience, even though it's common, it's not just either "I feel nothing" and "I feel too much" or accompanied by "I don't understand these feelings very well.....". It's more like, I can feel things neurotypical people have a hard time understanding or feeling. Metaphors and such. And guess what type of lyrics does Mitski uses.
I'm still not comfortable talking about myself, especially this personal stuff. But Lauzun is so important to me, that's basically the only reason I made an execption this time. ^^" I am still super insecure about....... many things.
