Well I've had the shittiest shift. We've had a mental health patient staying with us cos the authorities have no where else to put him, he's been getting worse and worse and I've spent the last 6 hours trying to get him to stop running around the restaurant chasing voices, trying to set the hotel on fire because its the only way to stop them, and then trying to kill himself by jumping from the 5th floor staircase.

It took 4 hours for the police to come and 5 hours before an ambulance arrived.

Hotels are not freaking mental health institutions we have zero training on how to deal with this I'm a RECEPTIONIST I wish councils would stop dumping these poor people on hotels!
