Ithelia, Pathwalker
"I am Ithelia, the Daedric Prince of Paths, the Mistress of the Untraveled Road! I am… confused. Sometimes an event surges into memory. Fear, anger, and resignation erupt all at once. Than I lose my grasp and forget again. Remembering is a struggle. I cannot extract details from the chaos of converging realities. There is darkness. Then I saw a light in the distance. The light became this inn. It summoned me but the reason was unclear. Until I recalled Sage's Dream. Echoes from other realities. My power drew them here, trapped them between this path and their own. They are confused, suffering. Until I gain control of myself, I cannot set them free. I wish to know more myself, but the storm fills my mind. The knowledge of the Many Paths comes to me in bursts, as intuitions. They are possibilities not yet realized. Realities close and distant. If I calm my mind, maybe I'll understand."
Prince Ithelia
"We learned that every Ithelia is dangerous, a broken creature that ends up hunted. We cannot change who we are.
But mortals? You choose your paths. You don't need the powers of a Daedric Prince to alter your fate. I envy this. Goodbye, pathwalker."

On Ithelia
Psst... This has been sitting in my drafts for a while because it was written when I was spiraling and avoiding doing my uni-work, so take the critical analysis with a grain of moon-sugar. I'm just sharing it now because otherwise me procrastinating produced literally nothing otherwise.
I want people to understand the beauty of Ithelia's design and the allegorical implications contained within.
Before I continue, two disclaimers: firstly, there are most likely spoilers for anyone who hasn't finished Necrom/Gold Road yet; and secondly, I'm not demeaning anyone's criticisms or ideas for redesigning Ithelia. They all have merits and some even stand on their own as possible interpretations.
That being said, I've seen people criticise her in most any way, including but not limited to:
Her Sphere: things such as 'Hermaeus Mora is the Prince of Fate' and 'Glass? Is she just copying from Jyggalag?'
Her Human-esque Design: people saying things like 'boring'.
Her Place in the TES Universe Multiverse: she appears briefly for the story of Necrom/Gold Road, then has to disappear again to preserve continuity for future games.
Let me address each of these one-by-one. Again, I am only offering a lens with which you can view Ithelia as she is.

Ngl I'm intrigued with the idea that Ithelia and Jyggalag were balancing forces for one another. She's out there messing with the threads of reality, he comes along to put everything back into its proper order and keeps things in check, and so they act as sort of limiting factors for one another. Keeping Ithelia in check keeps Jyggalag busy, and protecting her sphere from Jyggalag prevents her from getting too out of hand with her Fateweaving.
But then Ithelia creates her Loom and Mora - already feeling threatened by a powerful rival - uses the potentiality of cataclysm to have her locked away, and suddenly Jyggalag's limiter is gone. He no longer spends all of his time keeping Ithelia's sphere in check and so he begins to expand his power and grows his realm, which the other Princes do not like in the slightest. Mora - who now knows there can be unforeseen consequences for removing a Prince entirely - advocates for cursing Jyggalag to keep him in check. And the Princes come together much more readily this time because nobody likes Jyggalag (implying that Vaermina and Peryite did like Ithelia).
Anyways the Prince of 'I know best' causing a disruption in the ecosystem of Oblivion with his meddling would be fun.
My own take on an Ithelia design as sort of a counter part to the Meridia one I did a bit ago. I got thoughts about this one so they're going into a read more
