Item Idea: Busker’s Hat
Once worn by a god of travel and song, this hat was given as a gift to his mortal daughter when she first learned to play the fiddle. It’s been handed down to many impressive performers and hungry wanderers, but the tales say the hat will disappear if used to earn more money than you need.
If you hold out the hat to someone who has observed your performance, they must make a Wisdom save (DC equal to half your Performance check) or put a coin in. This also affects creatures who are present throughout the performance, if the hat is visibly set out.
The Oracle, Triton's Tonic, The Stinging Conch
Probably Bad RPG Item
The Ring of Investment
It's a Ring where you sacrifice your health to, and over the course of your playthrough it gains more HP on it's own and acts as a one time use heal when used, equal to the amount of health in it.
Feast your eyes on all this cool an kooky weaponry because I finished all of the #maylay prompts!
And now I have to come up with matching characters to wield them.

DnD item idea
A temperamental bag of holding that has a 50/50 chance of spitting out a random item every time it is opened. The opener of the bag must succeed in a dexterity saving throw to avoid being hit in the face by said item and taking 1 point of damage... or maybe more if it throws out a weapon. You can choose to tell your players that it does this, or wait until the coin flip reveals it before you explain that they might have been ripped off back in that sweet little old man’s magicke shoppe.
consider the entertainment potential in these following scenarios:
there are rumours of a plot to assassinate the lord of the city, all wagons are being thoroughly checked at the main gate. The guard opens the bag and the PCs all breathe a sigh of relief when the bag behaves normally...until the guard passes it on to his partner who is hit squarely in the face by a heavy ledger from that abandoned house that they were still hauling around from the start of the campaign. now bargain your way out of jail!
the PCs are now fully aware that the bag does this and try to use it to their advantage. As an enemy charges at them they confidently open the bag in the direction of their attacker and... nothing happens. you take damage and look like an idiot
alternatively... you’ve had terrible rolls all session, you’ve lost all of your weapons and are on your last legs as an enemy charges at you. in a last ditch attempt at defending yourself, you open the bag in his face and he falls to the groud, dead as the single poison tipped arrow that you looted from a body ages ago shoots out straight into his eye. what luck!
(this gets even better/worse if the DM allows the bag to hold living things...)
you’re sneaking around so as to not alert the orc guarding the door to your presence, you cautiously open the bag to retrieve a spell scroll/potion whatever and your noble steed yeets itself out on top of you with a confused neigh. the orc notices and calls for backup, roll for initiative
feel free to play around with the percentages (...and then fill the whole bag with arrows and do in game russian roulette)
Ya your fantasy game is cool and all but you know what would make it even better?
GUNBLADES!
Ohhh so shiny...
“How to get nothing done, while doing work” (item idea)
Here’s one for you DM’s that want a book that seems to provide benefits but doesn't.
Appearance: A large brown book that has had most of its title obscured, the only words that are visible are “doing work”
Description: This book, made by a comedian, provides no advantage to it’s reader. It’s a pretty dry satire that most would not be able to tell, unless told beforehand. Any information in this book is off far enough to where it can’t be used correctly.
Attribute: Can be read
