Ok so I had a thought
What if instead of having all the children and babies killed when the uchiha massacre was happening... Itachi and Obito just idk, gave them to far away families where they wouldn't be heard from again. Now I know this doesn't align with their goals and they wanted/needed all uhciha members gone... but maybe I don't want to think about dead kids, so... I like to headcanon that anyone under legal ninja age... so anyone under like 12 ig just got mind wiped or smthn and shoved with new families. Do I know how any of the details it would take to have that work? Ahah no. Will I accept it into my canons anyway? Yes. Also that means a stronger chance of more uchihas in the world ig... maybe a semi restored clan or smthn.
I also like to think their are more uzumakis and senjus and all the other clans we see so little of out there.
