So... After I watched season 2 of GO I was SHOCKED I felt the urge to rewatch season 1 just to understand Aziraphale better (and remember what his character actually is). I had my doubts about him, 'cause even back in 2019 I didn't quite get the point or the nature of their conflict with Crowley. But I didn't dwell on it – I got my happy ending after all. (I was then shot 57 times.)
"What's up with Aziraphale?" I thought. But of course no questions for Crowley, I got him, right.
Funny thing: I did rewatch. I do have final thoughts about s1 Aziraphale. I should exhale in relief as I found all the seeds and gathered all the fruit of that apocaliptic conflict (and who knows, might be writing some takes about it some time). I should be ready to move on to analyzing s2.
But... all of the sudden I realise I need to rewatch all that antichrist fuss AGAIN, 'cause apparently I have some (not so key-important but still) questions for Crowley.
So I first watched the series from Crowley's perspective (somehow) and failed to get Aziraphale's character. But once I'm watching it from Aziraphale's point of view? There are things I can't see and understand about Crowley.
So I believe I found myself stuck rewatching GO again and again :) Considering the fact that I haven't really rewatched or analysed s2 (and god DO I PLAN TO), I'll be here for a while...
