Will, as a werewolf, would make sense because it would give him a reason to hate himself more (self-love: mission impossible apparently), and he would use it as an excuse. Either to excuse his murders as a werewolf because he was out of control, and he doesn't remember what he did. Or, to suppress himself even more, like he can't risk temptation as a human nevermind as a wolf.
