Death giving immortality to Hob and having Dream meet him once every 100 years was sort of an equivalent of a person giving their sibling a dog so they would go out of their house. I copied the tail thing from someone else's design, dunno who, shoutout to them, I like it, tho I would like Smile to be able to wag like a normal dog, that's why I made a version with a normal tail, I thought he could maybe be able to put together his three tails and work as just 1, 'cause I like the idea of him just wagging at everybody.
Ok about him in my au, Smiles works as an intermediate for Zalgo to speak to the creepys, tho he only does it when making deals, he hasn't done it any other time, at least by now, out of that, Smiles is just a normal dog, ugly, but normal. I kinda imagine him acting like Scooby in determinated situations and makes me chuckle.
