It’s really funny to see this one fandom Tumblr be obsessed with and then immediately a bunch of posts mentioning the bigoted parts of the story itself.
I go from seeing theories or jokes about Dracula cooking or cleaning to keep up appearances to thorough explanation of critical thought in literature, I don’t even GO here, I need popcorn.Â
#ishtar soapbox#if it gets to those parts and people complain despite ALL these posts going on#it'll be amusing#hope no one gets triggered if it's still faithful to the work because clearly there's been a LOT OF WARNING#also no insult to people who are reading it and participating#in general it's very predictable with how fandoms are here...and I suppose twitter as well
