Working with @genelake2 was so fulfilling. I remember the 1st song he worked on for #TLC was #RuleOverMe. He made sure to call and email me to ask questions to get as much details for my vision for the song. I loved the open communication we had. He surpassed my vision for Rule Over Me to the point of me breaking out in tears 😭 the communication decreased only because he managed to capture my overall vision for the next songs I would send him perfectly ie #iSpareYou #Pressure #KeepGoin #IronSharpenethIron.... I look at my songs like their my children, and Mr Gene you took such great care of the ones you blessed by mixing them to perfection on #TLC. Thank you Mr. Lake for your hard work and diligence for helping TLC be a masterpiece with your skill set. Your charity during this project moved me. You understood what most producer artist do not, “it’s about you, its about you and their vision”.
