We started something in January of last year and at the tome I didn’t realize the gravity of it all. We started a tradition that is beautiful, yet I wish we didn’t have this one. You see, last January we started a memorial magnet to honor all of the Littles we lost that year. At the time, rolling this one out was devastating. I had no idea how much it would continuously come back around and hurt again. This year we’ve put together another memorial magnet for all who have come back home in 2020. From here on out every January will memorialize those who, in my world, are gone all too soon. I’ll try and make this post as clear as possible so folks don’t get confused. The first pic is the card from last year. The second pic is the magnet from last year. The third pic is this years card with all of their pictures on it and the final pic is the magnet from this year. The magnet will be the same square shape and the same size as last years. Unfortunately, this year will just lost their names on the back of the card because sadly, there are too many to get all of their life sized paw prints to fit on it. We will start the fundraiser around 6pm this evening as usual but I’m attaching the link to the page with this post so you can navigate how to get there. This month is going to be a huge one for us, with over $20,000.00 in routine exams with cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology orthopedic and pediatric already scheduled, so more than ever this money is both needed and used in the most important of manners. Next week we have 10-12 going in for cardiology appointments alone. Stay tuned for those posts as they should be very fun to watch!
