The leaves of the righteous are not grown to adorn the sanctuary or decorate the tree but instead to bring healing to the nations. We are sent to where there is sickness. We are planted in the places of pain to draw out the poisons of corruption, reset the limbs of broken systems, and strengthen the impoverished and oppressed. From time to time we will enter periods of drought when the rains of relationships may fail. In the heat of adversity, the water lines of health and strength can drop dangerously low. Pools of resource sometimes dry up all together. However, despite these harsh conditions and times of drought, we have been assured that our leaves shall not wither.
