The art store was LONG. Like, it kept going back and back and Richard and I did like, 3 laps and I kept finding NEW THINGS. I went in there to see if they maybe sold the marker brand I like in singles, bc I was like. I don't have enough blues for adequate snow. Alas! They DON'T sell them in singles there. BUT! THEY SELL STICKERS. AND SCRAPBOOK THINGS. AND WATERCOLOUR MARKERS. SO, YOU KNOW. FUCK YEAH! :D

I'd been wanting to go to IKEA since the weekend Car Hell started, so the fact that my stomach sorted itself by NOON had me like REVVED UP AND READY TO GO, I dragged Richard out the door (which he happily popped out of but with the ice shovel so we could clear the sewers and sticky parts of the driveway since it was above 0 today and with all the snow we've gotten, shit got MELTY) and I was like WOO! WOOHOO! IKEA! YEAH! The trip was for organizational purposes, mostly to benefit him, and he was v happy I urged him to go to IKEA bc now he's gonna get SO organized.

It's crazy, it's like. I get one (1) day of warm (by Canadian standards lmao) temps and I'm like I GOTTA REORGANIZE EVERYTHING!!

I brought a notebook too so we know what furniture pieces we want to get when they're in the budget/we're ready for them. It was also very enriching for Richard's environment as he likes to touch things and play with objects and crawl under tables and chairs to see how they're put together, so he was LIVING lol. I had to hustle him out of the marketplace bc it was almost close time and by GOD. I WAS GOING TO HAVE A MOTHER FUCKING FROZEN YOGURT SO HELP ME (and I did!) (and also we left right as the IKEA closed, lol)

I ALSO had a coupon for a free meal at the IKEA Swedish cafe and got to use it, SO FREE MEATBALLS MEAL FOR ME HUEHUEHEU! And the meatballs and mash HIT. They stayed DOWN. Which is GREAT because let me tell you. Yesterday. NOTHING I ate wanted to stay in my body for long, I almost CRIED at 11am this morning when I suddenly grew so ravenous that if I didn't have cereal then and there I was SURELY going to PERISH, lmao.

So tl;dr: it was LOVELY! We have TOTES! My reusable bags won;t be SPILLING OUT OF THE CLOSET IN A MOST EGREGIOUS MESSY MANNER, AND I GOT NEW ART STUFF WHICH IS ALWAYS FUN, AND! AND! AND! THE BEST! HOPEFULLY taking care of some of Richard's DOOM PILES and sorting things into TOTES and BOXES and making things TIDY will help him feel better and more like he can tackle the endless list of to-do's that causes him to lean on the cat tower and gaze out at the backyard like he has seen Horrors (he has seen none horrors) (well. none irregular horrors, just the usual horrors lol)

[Just had a brain blast: Super would have done more favors to Vegeta's character arc in Super if they made his returning gusto for training linked to wanting to kill Frieza after his return rather than basing it solely on him once more becoming obsessed with surpassing Goku again. Sure, it's not AS BAD as it was in Z, but the fact that they bring it back takes away his growth from the end of the Buu saga. How he admitted that Goku was better than him and was moving toward making peace with that. You know...the shit they should have focused on instead of UWU FAMIWY MANNNNN!!!

I get they couldn't do this at the beginning, but I would rather see Vegeta obsessing over wanting to kill the guy who enslaved his people and him as a kid through a good portion of his adulthood, destroyed his home and people, constantly humiliated him, and in short deserves to die by his hands. Yeah, argue with me that it's better for his character that he doesn't, that him being perfectly fine (basically) with Frieza's return outside of a few comments shows how much he's grown, all you want, but I don't buy it. When it comes to Frieza, he never got any kind of closure. He never got any kind of comeuppance. Even if he locked it away for a good while since he believed Frieza would stay dead, it would be much more interesting to see that trauma come back to the forefront and become his purpose for wanting to improve himself since the Goku Rivalry doesn't really make that much sense anymore (and arguably never did in calling in a rivalry lmao).
