THE WATERS ARE NOT MEANT TO DROWN YOU. WALK ON IT 🌊💪🏻
Have you experienced drowning? Back then, being a clumsy kid, we have drowned ourselves into kiddie pools and mini beaches. Habang tumatanda tayo, akala natin hindi na tayo malulunod pang muli --- ngunit mali tayo. We have drown ourselves into the places we never thought we'd see ourselves in.
Secret sins and guilty pleasures. Betrayal, pain, anger, guilt and sadness.
We try to save ourselves as we desperately gasp for air, in and out of the waters, with our hands up in the air surrendering and seeking for help while we try to get push away the great water slowly pushing us into the unknown.
YET THE WAVES ARE GETTING STRONGER AND DARKER.
Nakakapagod. Wasted opportunities, time and relationships. Then we stopped trying and uttered a prayer of surrender.
"Lord, hindi ko na kaya. Ikaw na ang bahala."
And as we slowly sink into the dark waters, a mighty hand of undying love, forgiveness and amazing grace held, pulled us up and saved us.
"Don't worry, anak. I'm here to save you. I forgive you, I love you."
Sometimes, freedom can be met at the places where we are willing to surrender. It all takes a single step back to our loving life guard --- Jesus Christ. Whatever "great waters" are drowning you right now, please be reminded that THE WATERS ARE NOT MEANT TO DROWN YOU, it is meant for you TO WALK ON IT. You are not alone in this fight, you have the Lord your God ❤️
He is powerful. He is miraculous. He gave His life for you. He will save you ✨
