finally manged to put Nikon D50 and D70s side by side on the same photo

- same settings on both camera

- set the same WB on both of them

- switch the lens with the IR filter between the cameras, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 and Hoya R72

the top photo is the original image from the RAW file

the mid photo is the color and level adjusted

and the bottom is the channel mixed photo

In my opinion the D70s gives better colors for IR

the white stay white and not fading as in the D50

they both great cameras for IR, but I only had D50, and now finally got D70

Infrared world – 700 nm

My first photograph with the converted infrared camera.

Plants reflect infrared light very strongly, which creates this almost snow-covered look even though the photo was taken in bright daylight.

Pflanzen reflektieren Infrarotlicht besonders stark. Dadurch entsteht dieser fast winterliche Eindruck – obwohl das Bild bei strahlendem Tageslicht entstanden ist.
