I tried two new things this week at practice.
1. I rowed Port yesterday. I'm usually Starboard. Which means that they finally put me back in a boat. Only because it was a technique day, but that's fine with me.
2. I got to Cox a varsity boat today. I'm a rower, not a coxswain. That was a different view from the boat today. I was freaking out a lot. That's a 55 foot long boat and they expect me to see to the very end of it to get a point and not to crash into everything? I am now appreciative for all the coxswains on my team and on the men's team. Thank you for being our savior, because without you, we'd die.
