He needed a break from being a PRESIDENT, so Mortimer left when everyone’s backs were turned. An easy click of a button, one PORTAL later, and Mortimer dropped through it into the middle of the street, hands being held out in order to CATCH Reider as the little alien fell through just a second later.

The portal gun is tucked into the holster on his hip.

      ❝ I’VE GOT YOU now, ❞ dib mutters under his breath when he is granted access into the alien’s home computer system.  frantically typing on the keys of his own laptop, he searches the database for any trace of zim’s next plan – until he notices an unusual silence, a complete lack of zim’s shrill voice, coming from upstairs.
