Welcome Our New Editor
Delighted to say that Iris Colomb is joining HVTN as the art editor, to manage covers and the forthcoming comeback of featured artwork from V4, and to consult on poetry submissions / solicitations. Her is some more info about Iris:
Iris Colomb strives to merge poetry and other art forms, applying a design approach to poetic projects. Her visual work has been showcased in the collective exhibition 'We Fiddle While Rome Burns’ (Donetsk, 2014), sold at auction in Versailles (2015), and 'Semechki’ (Семечки), her collaboration with Russian poet Eta Dahlia, will feature at the Poetry Library’s upcoming open day exhibition. As a poet, Iris has given individual, collaborative and interactive performances at a range of events in both London and France, for the Enemies Project, among others. Her poems have been published in Pocket Litter and Datableed, and she been a resident artist and poet at the 'Drawing Poetry residency’ at the Centre for Recent Drawing. Iris also curates events that seek possibilities beyond the traditional formats of poetry readings (notably: 'Drawing Breath’ and 'Erratic Scores’). Each reading acts as a separate live experiment, linking poetry and other mediums such as visual arts, film, sound, and design.
