Valentine’s Day wasn’t her favorite holiday, but once she heard of the charity event at the carnival, Elena knew she wanted to be there and be a volunteer. They made plans, spend the weekend at the boarding house, and after her volunteering duties she’d spend the rest of the night with Damon. However, she felt like there a knot in her stomach, that only grew tighter as time passed by, and Damon hadn’t returned and met her. Half way the night, and she made up her mind. She’d go and try to find him. 

Thinking it was about time she let Levi out of the house for something other than school, Scarlett begrudgingly trudged down to the Carnival that had been advertised as of late. Apparently, a bunch of his friends were going and he wouldn’t be cool if he didn’t. She wasn’t sure when coolness started so young but naturally, she couldn’t refuse. As he ran over to a game where the object was to knock down stacked up cans, she lifted him onto the counter and paid the vendor. Unsurprisingly he missed because the game was impossible even for an adult but when his sad eyes looked back at her she shook her head. “Don’t look at me, I have terrible hand-eye coordination.” Huffing a little, Levi looks past her a little and points. “Well, what about you?” Scarlett stops herself from scolding him for pointing at people and instead, looks expectantly at them. 

“There’s a technique to it you know,” Logan said as he went and put the spoon in his mouth and balanced the egg. He gestured as he showed by example before taking it from his mouth. “Tilt your head back a bit. All about balance. Come on, it’s a blast.” Despite the curse and feeling like an utter wreck he wanted to still live his life. Volunteering at the carnival? Sounded fun.

Ethan felt a glow about him and a power that he had only witnessed firsthand a few times. It didn’t make sense. Not at all. Slowly and then all at once, a clattering of sounds flooded his head. Was this..... no.. that didn’t make sense... But it sure did seem like what had been described to him in the past as angel radio. But he wasn’t..... no.. To test a theory, he concentrated on a glass on a table and without moving a finger it flung into the wall and smashed to pieces. Okay so maybe it wasn’t just a theory. “What the hell?” Quite the opposite actually. 

it was faces, and voices. a lifeless body dumped behind a building, covered in blood. he was seeing things. like when he used to have his visions. this was different, though, and he didn’t know why. something was seriously wrong, his head was hurting. he needed to find dean, or gen. he needed to get out of here. the voices were drowning out the sound of the party, getting louder, but he couldn’t figure out what they were trying to say. this was like having lucifer back in his head, but worse, because this was more than one voice, this was unbearable. in his haste to get out of the room he accidentally knocked in to someone, quickly turning to stop them from falling and to apologise.

While walking down the street to perhaps meet up with Hayley at the party (although he’d much rather be throwing his own lavish one), a bunch of rowdy teens celebrating Halloween knocked into Tristan. One of them had a sharp edge to their costume and it created a small cut into his skin. He was about to impart a slew of negative commentary their way when the small wound caught his eye. It wasn’t healing. A feeling of terror went down Tristan’s spine. He tried to run and found that his vampire speed was lacking, as was his hearing. He had to figure this out and quickly, or else he could find himself in a dire situation.
