pronouns: She/her

three facts
A WWE wrestler once stole my joke. He'd retired to an island and we used to talk on FB for a while. He'd post short vids on 'life' and he put one of my one-liners in a video XD.
I'm a cat parent. I love dogs too, but cats are more my thing. (Current fur-baby is tearing up a paper shopping bag as I type.)
I'm older and crusty and way too (or just the right amount) dry-arse cynical.
roleplay experience
how long: Long. Long, long, long. This is year 14 on Tumblr, and let's just say I was on GreatestJournal before it imploded. Plus tabletop that started before that.
platforms you've used: Tumblr (obvs), around three different sites with 'Journal' in the name, a custom-made roleplay forum site, Twitter wayyyy back in the day, recently tried JCink. Have dabbled in Discord but I'm very cautious, I've found it's a great place for people to behave horribly where they think nobody can see.
best experience: I'm not going to pin it down to just one :). As a whole my best experiences have been (and are) with the people who have stuck with me for very many years. Some have been with me since I first joined Tumblr, others 10 years or more. Even if we don't write as much anymore, or at all, we're still part of each other's lives and stay in touch. And those I do still write with - <3 <3 <3 <3!
muse preferences
female or male: Female. Honestly I only have the one at the moment, her different verses giving variety. I've tried writing otherwise (and canons) before, but they all kinda lapsed.
fluff, angst, smut: These are not the only things you can write, y'know. But in the spirit of the question, please miss me with the continual crushing angst without end. Angst has a place in RP but it needs plot behind it as much as any other genre. I'm happy to write it when I'm in the right mindset, but when my IRL depression is acting up I can't deal with misery in my pretendy-writing too. Fluff - I'm not gonna lie, I love me some happy. I enjoy purely fluff threads, but it's also possible to slip some small moments into others. Again, moderation. Smut - I'm not smut-averse, but I'm not going to write it instantly with anyone who comes along. It gets written with muns I trust, in the context of an established ship (which also needs building up to).
plots or memes: A mix of both. I love memes, because (I'll be honest) it helps me feel that people want to write with me enough that they'll make the overture. And they're good for quick hits between longer threads. That said, sometimes it's difficult to come up with something for a muse Thera hasn't yet met, and that's helped by chatting with the mun and getting a baseline for what works for us both. Past that, I enjoy plotting as far as having an overview of where the thread is intended to go. Otherwise I often find things will sit there and be vague and be really hard to reply to.
long or short replies: Again, mixed. Long replies are great for getting into the details of action and emotion, but short ones are good for keeping things lively in between. Long means they take longer to write, and shorter stuff fills the gaps while I work on those.
best time to write: Whenever motivation, muse and mojo combine. There's not a particular time of day unless I'm working, which means things mostly wait until late afternoon/evening when I get home, but otherwise no.
are you like your muse(s): I like to think I've become more like her over the years, in as far as taking less shit and being able to stand up for myself and what a do and don't want.
